Lee Hill Farm was the recipient of the 2015 Association of Professional Landscape Designers Gold Award for Planting Design.
The 7800 square foot garden was originally built in the 1920s when the property had a working greenhouse and two full-time gardeners. The bones of that garden remain. My design retains the spirit of the original with lower maintenance and an eye towards family use and deer resistance. A new stone wall and gravel paths were added and existing brick walks were re-laid. Original planting plans from 1940s inspired the color palette of deep blues and pinks punctuated with seasonal yellow and white accents.
